This proposal was developed after many discussions with the community and an in-depth study of district-wide facility needs. To meet those needs in a financially responsible way, the Board of Education has proposed a 1.95 mill increase that, if approved, would generate $23 million for the school district.
Pursuant to State law, expenditure of bond proceeds must be audited, and the proceeds cannot be used for operating expenses, which include: repair or maintenance costs, teacher, administrator or employee salaries.
